Final Concert – NBCF’s First Fundraiser Gala

About Our First Fundraiser Gala

The launch of the Nashville Bel Canto Foundation marked the beginning of a new initiative dedicated to supporting young opera singers as they prepare for the professional world of opera.

Hosted in Nashville, the evening celebrated the city’s growing cultural landscape and its deep openness to diverse forms of music and artistic expression. As Music City continues to expand beyond its traditional boundaries, the Foundation was created with the vision of helping classical music reach new audiences while honoring the traditions of Italian singing, theatrical stagecraft, and operatic artistry.

The gala featured performances by four rising opera singers from some of the nation’s leading music institutions, accompanied by Nicolò Sbuelz of The Metropolitan Opera. Through their performances, guests experienced the expressive power, discipline, and emotional depth that define the bel canto tradition.

As the Foundation’s first public event, the evening brought together artists, patrons, community leaders, and cultural advocates who share a belief in the importance of mentorship, education, and access to the arts.

More than a celebration, the launch served as a statement of purpose: to create meaningful training opportunities for young singers and contribute to the continued growth of classical music in Nashville.
